Boy does time pass and years later meet back up with great college friends. (Michael Jan Denise Carl) Michael and Carl college years were 1966 or there abouts. Jan was his college sweetheart and yes still his sweetheart years later. Both retired and in Adel Georgia came to Branson for a visit which we totally enjoyed. There were a few things Michael reminded me of back in those days and Denise had to ask did I attend any classes? Where did the years go?

July 2013

Carl goes for a doctor appointment on a Thursday and complains about his arm hurting.  The cat scan showed his bicep tendon barely hanging on by a thread.  The following Monday he was in surgery.  Recovery should take 12 weeks. They said if they didn't do surgery immediately and his tendon burst, he wouldn't have full use of the arm.


We met my sister Patty, Raleigh, Harold and his daughter in Little Rock after their 7000 mile plus trip. Headed home after 30 days of riding. Guess it was good I had surgery and could not ride the bike cause these people have to be TOUGH. Hate we missed it, cause there is never a dull moment.

March 2013

Well, during the winter of 2012,  we sold our condo on wheels.  It was bittersweet.  We are not traveling as much as we used to and the bus sat at the campground 6 months out of the year.  We have been blessed to have enjoyed our unique lifestyle for so many years.

 We are back to work in Branson, ready for a new season!!

We have been to several shows -- Presley's, Sixties, Oak Ridge Boys, Three Redneck Tenors, Cassandre, Tod Oliver, Grand Jubilee,  Joseph Hall, Doug Gabriel

Celebrate America at College of the Ozarks - all you can eat barbeque and fireworks.

Sherrell  was released to start back to work - There is a God!!!  I was exhausted working 40 hours!

Georgia got her first professional cut.   Carl and I were trying to do this ourselves - poor little thing looked so homely.

May 2012

Been VERY busy!!  Haven't done too much outside of work.  Thank you all for your prayers, I seem to be doing better on the 40 hour work week.  Carl is down to 1 day of working ( poor thing).  However, he is turning into a great "wife"!!  He does everything around the house right now and even has time to have dinner ready when  get home.... I could easily get spoiled!!!   Thank you honey -- I love you!!!

Never knew how hard going back to work 40 hours was gonna be!!!  Sherrell is still not back, so, I am working 5 days a week and Carl is working 2. (Something is not quite right with this picture).  I am exhausted by the time Friday comes around.  I am training the new workers, and re-training the winter workers.  Keep me in your prayers -- they are not very happy with me.

We went "home" for the winter to visit family. We visited with Patty and Raleigh in Barnesville, Ga for a few weeks.  Their adorable RV Barn has hook-ups for our bus!   We may never leave!!

January 2012

First, let us start out by saying HAPPY NEW YEAR!!  We  look forward to another blessed year --
We are still in Branson, Missouri and surprisingly the weather has been rather mild.
We spend our Mondays playing bingo at the Lions Club (well, Denise does - Carl has quiet time).
Tuesdays is date night at the movies (free popcorn)
Thursdays we head to Texas Land and Cattle for 1/2 appetizers.

We found out that our satellite is not working on the bus, so we are going to need to have that repaired.

While watching TV in the house, our video went black, Carl had to pull out his "TV Knowledge" and try to get it going again- and HE DID!! It took all day - but it is working better than before now.

Currently, our plans are to leave here around February 5th, after Carl's VA appointment, and head to Tunica, Mississippi, then to Ellijay, GA to look at a campground, then on to Covington to see Mama and Shane, then  to Barnesville to visit Patty, then Tifton to visit Annis, then Florida to visit Theresa.  Whew!!  That is a lot of visiting---
We will keep everyone posted on our plans.

We wish our daughter, Theresa, a Happy 42nd birthday - We love ya!!

And,  our son, Shane who turned 31 -- Happy Birthday - We love ya!!

Doctor's told Carl he couldn't drive the bus South --- so --- we had our own little Christmas in Branson.

Christmas in Branson has begun!! Lights everywhere.

Carl had shoulder surgery.

Still building on garage.

Had Thanksgiving at Cracker Barrell with the whole Branson Lakeside crew.

Saw Ann Margaret! She is still in great shape. Andy Williams was sick, so he wasn't there. I saw Ann Margaret in Pleiku, Vietnam in 1968 and we both have changed, where did time go. She still can out move me.

Had several workamper couples leave - - time for new ones to come in.

We met Shane and Brandi in Tunica.

Took them to Graceland - had a nice long weekend.

Another great surprise! Harold came up for a visit!

At work, we had a Sixties VIP party so us girls dressed in tye dye.

Ken and Peggy took us out on their boat - moonlight sail - a good night.

Started out this month with a BANG -

Carl had kidney stones AGAIN - this one was 3mm - we have a sonogram and note from the doctor in case he has another attack while we are on the road back to GA. We went to Tifton for a visit, then to Covington for Justin's wedding!

We had visitors!! Our friends from Sanford, Fl came up and we went to shows, out to eat and just enjoyed each other's company!! The park was still under water - so we did not have to work while they were here. Saw the Platters and Bill Hailey and the Comets - Great Show

We are working at the campground two days a week. We were visited by the cast from Grand Country Theater- we took some pictures and got some autographs. Then.... the floods came....

we evacuated the park for two weeks- came back, got it cleaned up - then - here comes an even BIGGER flood. This time it got the office, so we were out another two weeks before pulling in a temp trailer.

Beginning of Spring, so we had to head back to Branson to start work. We were met by the same crew that was there when we left --

Our first show was A Christmas Snow - we met the cast members of the movie and got autographs- a fun night!
